Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. EXAMINE DOCUMENTS TO ASSESS THE DEGREE OF RISK FROM RELATED FACTORS SUCH AS FINANCIAL STANDING AND VALUE AND CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY:
Determine the direct and indirect exposures inherent in the business operations or activities and property of the applicant for Property & Casualty insurance products; Check the availability of the Risk Management plans and other security and safety procedures or manuals that may reduce the exposures, Review Construction contracts, Indemnity Agreements and all other documents for Bonds underwriting;
Monitor the target completion dates of all Bonded construction projects and ensure that the complete closing documents are submitted on time by the contractors.
DECLINE EXCESSIVE RISK: Decline to offer insurance cover f the risk falls outside underwriting appetite and does not conform with the guidelines or if the exposures are extremely high despite the risk management plans in place: Make sound and well-documented decisions on underwriting issues.
OBTAIN FURTHER INFORMATION, QUOTE RATES OR EXPLAIN COMPANY UNDERLYING POLICIES: Require relevant underwriting information from the client; Provide a quote to the client under the Company's acceptable terms and conditions: Respond to clients' queries regarding the company policies in accepting risks.
EVALUATE POSSIBILITY OF LOSSES DUE TO CATASTROPHE OR EXCESSIVE INSURANCE: Assess the probable cause and amount of claims/loss that may arise from the activities or property ownership of the applicant: Review the clients' claim records in the past few years to assess if there is a loss trend.
REVIEW COMPANY RECORDS TO DETERMINE AMOUNT OF INSURANCE IN FORCE ON SINGLE RISK OR GROUP OF CLOSELY RELATED RISKS: On a regular basis, review the portfolio of similar risks to assess the accumulation of limit exposures.
